FLORENCE THOMAS ART SCHOOL

Florence Thomas Art School and Gallery is a non-profit whose mission is to provide educational resources for instruction, exhibition and experience in the Fine Arts and Heritage Crafts for Ashe County and the region. An Ashe County native, Florence Thomas’s passion for art was matched by her desire to teach and share her knowledge. When Florence died in 2007, her will provided the direction and means to establish a art school to further provide quality instruction in the arts. We offer classes and workshops for adults and children from fine portraiture to the popular Barn Quilts seen on barns and homes across the country. We are located in the arts district of downtown West Jefferson. 10 S. Jefferson Ave., West Jefferson 336-846-3827 www.FlorenceArtSchool.org
