BLOWING ROCK HISTORICAL SOCIETY

The Blowing Rock Historical Society (BRHS) is a non-profit community organization dedicated to protecting the town's historical character. For information pertaining to exhibits, events, and activities, please check the BRHS website.

BRAHM (BLOWING ROCK ART & HISTORY MUSEUM)

Experience the visual arts and our rich mountain heritage through enlightening exhibits, family-friendly cultural events, art workshops, and engaging lectures. Open year-round Tues - Sat, 10am - 5pm. Open Sundays, 12-4p, May-Oct. Free Admission.

HORN IN THE WEST

Open late June to mid-August. Shows nightly except Monday at 8pm. Exciting family entertainment of the history of the area. The adjacent Hickory Ridge Living History Museum is open before the show. Donations are encouraged. All seats reserved, walk-ups welcome.

TURCHIN CENTER FOR THE VISUAL ARTS

Visual arts come to life at Appalachian State University's premier art museum! Acclaimed exhibitions, lectures, special events and workshops for all ages. Free admission; guided tours available. Open Tue-Sat 10a-6p; Fri noon-8p; (closed Sun and Mon).
