BLOWING ROCK ART AND HISTORY MUSEUM

Visit us and experience the visual arts and our rich mountain heritage through enlightening exhibits, family friendly cultural events, art and craft workshops and classes, and engaging lectures. Open year-round: Tuesday - Saturday 10 am - 5 pm and Thursdays 10 am - 7 pm.

BLOWING ROCK HISTORICAL SOCIETY

The Blowing Rock Historical Society (BRHS) is a non-profit community organization dedicated to protecting the town's historical character. For information pertaining to exhibits, events, and activities, please check the BRHS website.

HORN IN THE WEST

Open late June to mid-August. Shows nightly except Monday at 8pm. Exciting family entertainment of the history of the area. The adjacent Hickory Ridge Living History Museum is open before the show. Donations are encouraged. All seats reserved, walk-ups welcome.

Visual arts come to life at Appalachian State University's premier art museum! Acclaimed exhibitions, lectures, special events and workshops for all ages. We make the visual arts accessible and fun for everyone! Free admission; guided tours available. Open Tu-Sat 10a-6p; Fri noon-8p; (closed Sun and Mon)
